Spaghetti Carbonara

Serves 6


  • 1 lb of spaghetti # 5 barilla
  • 1/2 lb of bacon
  • One stick of butter
  • Half quarter of heavy cream
  • 6 eggs
  • Salt
  • Red chilli pepper
  • Grate parmesan cheese as desired

  1. Slice the bacon in a 1/2 inch stripes
  2. In a bowl separate the eggs yolk from the whites
  3. In a large pan melt the butter with the red peppers
  4. Add the bacon to the pan and cook until the bacon is crispy and brown
  5. In a bowl mix the egg yolk's with the cream and the parmesan cheese.
  6. Fill a large pot with plenty of water, a little salt and cook the spaghetti for about 10/12 min until al dente
  7. Strain the pasta and add to the pan with the bacon
  8. Turn the heat on mild, and steer for 2 min.
  9. Add the mix of egg yolks and cream and steer for 1 min.
  10. Turn off and serve!! Buon Appetito!!
